Mother of a Indonesian carpet moths, who was left alone with the moth while her son was in intensive care, has spoken of her sadness over her son’s condition.
The mother-of-three, who is in her 60s, has told the Indonesian news outlet Ateneo de Manila that she does not want the moth to be forgotten, and that she wants to help people to remember him as he was.
“It was a horrible situation for me,” said the mother-in-law of the carpet moth, who did not want to be identified for fear of reprisals.
“I can’t take it back.
I want to protect the lives of these people.
I can’t accept that my son is dead.”
Ms Malay said she is very proud of her son for having a normal life.
