In ancient times, the Persian Empire ruled a vast empire spanning from the Indus Valley in present-day Pakistan to the Indian Ocean in Africa.
It was one of the greatest empires in the ancient world, and ruled for over 1,500 years.
The Persians would become known for their beauty and elegance, as they were renowned for their beautiful women.
In modern times, however, they have been accused of being sexist and oppressive towards women and children.
Their reign began with the conquest of India, the region that has become the world’s largest Muslim population, in 711 BCE, and they eventually conquered most of the world.
Their empire grew in power until the fall of the Ottoman Empire in 1918.
During the reign of the Shah of Persia, women were allowed to attend public gatherings, including religious events.
After the Shah’s death, the new king made women subject to his male relatives.
The new monarchs family then took power, establishing the Islamic Republic of Iran, which is today Iran’s most powerful country.
This is the first time that an Iranian mother has been shown on screen in Persian.
