The death of a mother, a sister and her mother in a crash in Pakistan have been ruled a homicide.
The family of the woman, who is believed to have been a mother to three children, had been living in the northern town of Pulwama when they were killed, local media reported.
Local police spokesman Muhammad Ali said the mother was the victim of a hit-and-run driver who hit her car at about 4 a.m. local time on Sunday.
The mother and her sister were traveling in the vehicle when it veered onto a grassy area and crashed into a tree.
A woman was killed in the crash and two other people were injured.
Police identified the driver as Momin Khan.
Police have said he was driving a dark-coloured Toyota Prius that is registered to the Pakistani town of Bahawalpur.
They did not release his name.
