On January 19, the oldest known surviving Indian mother of a god, the goddess Teresa, died in her home in Punjab province in northwestern Pakistan, Pakistani media reported.

According to Pakistani sources, Teresa was 95 years old.

In a recent video message, the woman’s husband, Shahid Khan, expressed his sadness over her passing.

“Teresa was my mother and my teacher, she taught me the ways of life and was my teacher in many ways,” Khan said.

“My mother, my mother, her memory is not forgotten, not forgotten and I will always remember her.”
